  1. Damn it David! You got me exited, I thought it was real! BAH!

But yeah, I would love to see other fighting games besides SSF4. But that would be an expensive tournament to play at. =/

I would spend like 30 bux just to play in all the tournaments I want to enter... damn...

  2. The price is steep, and one SSF4 tournament takes all day.

Not to mention, for that kind of coverage, there would need to be paychecks in order.

    Bad Idea.

  3. They would run simultaneously with each Tournament having its own host. Price seems steep but you don't have to enter all Tournaments if you don't want to. The option would be the players. This is certainly a step up from border rumble 1 . But we need to step it up.

  5. Maybe you should throw in some KOF game in the mix, cause i know our brothers across the border love any and everything KOF. I ordered KOF 2002 unlimited match tougeki ver. for the ps2 that might be an option.

  6. Crap. How could I forget kof 12. Anyway I'm one step closer to making this a reality, mikeyboy956 from fightcorner is in & Dr. Sauceda agreed to put up the $500! Now all we need is the place ;-) Felipe *cough *cough

  7. Wait, but do you guys plan to charge just to "enter" the place? I think that is a bit too much...

Not even EVO charges just to attend. =/

  8. I agree... It's too much, and you might not get people to attend because of it.

    I mean, i know i wont go.

Unless me and DarKaoZ get some sort of Media Pass.

  9. Dudes chill, this is a mockup. Fees are not final. Nor game lineups. Nothing. Only that I am getting the ball rolling on this. Keep in mind we will need volunteers to run the individual game Tournaments and people to bring in hardware. So there are probably possibilities for discounts.
this So going to take more then 2 people to run it.

  10. And no... spectating will probably be free. I might not know What evo charges for spectators but we wont require you guys to purchase a 400 dollar ticket to get here.

  11. Also understand that venue fees are for cost of renting the place. Game fees are for the pot. If we charge 3 dollars for pot then we can't guarantee $500.00!
This is big-time now. only serous players need apply.
Stop thinking locally and start thinking south Texas wide

  13. Just got off the phone with Dr. Sauceda. Payout for ssfiv is now $500.00 + pot!!!! So if 50 people show up and we decide to charge 10 for ssfiv pot ... that's $1000.00 pot!!!
    70% for first
    20% for second
    And 10% for third
