Justin Wong vs. Marn for ESWC Finals

It's only shaky cam footage, but it's all the video we're gonna get out of the ESWC due to organization changes. It's still neat to see someone take a match from Justin Wong, and Marn really puts up a great fight.

ARCADIA SUPER STREET FIGHTER 4 TIER LIST & INTERVIEW WITH MAGO AND NEMO

This artical was taken directly from iplaywinner.com
Azrael over at SRK translated the recent issue of Arcadia Magazine which includes a tier list for Super Street Fighter 4 complied by both Mago and Nemo. The interview contains a lot of interesting thoughts on the cast from both players and is definitely worth the read.

On that note, iPlayWinner will release our July tier list in the following days so stay tuned to see how our list compares with theirs.

Thanks to KillaSasa on NeoGAF for finding this.
Full translation from Azrael:

The recent Arcadia had a tier listing plus interview with Mago and Nemo. They compiled two lists - a "Global" list based on info they've compiled from talking to players, on messageboards, etc. And an Arcadia list that they themselves put together.

"Global" Ranking

A: Guile, Abel, Chun, Bison, E.Honda, Balrog, Rose, Blanka
B: Ryu, Sim, Vega, Ken, Rufus, C.Viper, Akuma, Fei, Cammy, Gouken, ELF, Cody, Sagat, Ibuki, Zangief, Seth, Guy, Adon
C: Sakura, Dudley, Juri, Dee Jay, Hakan, Makoto, Dan, T.Hawk, Gen

Arcadia Ranking
A: Balrog, E.Honda, Guile, Fei Long, Cammy, Rufus
B: Abel, Bison, Blanka, Chun, Viper, Ryu, Dhalsim, Akuma, Sagat, Rose, Ibuki, Gief, ELF, Vega, Gouken, Ken, Seth
C: Adon, Dee Jay, Juri, Dudley, Cody
D: Gen, Sakura, Guy, Dan, T.Hawk, Hakan, Makoto

Justin Wong wins ESWC SSFIV Tournament

Justin Wong is just unstoppable!  He just won the ESWC SSFIV Tournament in France.
Good job!

UPDATE:

Final Results
1. Justin Wong, U.S.A. (Rufus) — $8,000
2. Martin "Marn" Phan, U.S.A. (C. Viper, Rufus) — $4,000
3. Luffy, France (Rose) — $2,000
4. Infiltration, Korea (Akuma)

Last Round Battle Log
 • Grand Finals: Justin Wong (Rufus) defeated Martin "Marn" Phan (C. Viper) 3-1.
• To decide 3rd place, Luffy (Rose) defeated Infiltration (Akuma) 3-1.
• Final Four: Justin Wong, U.S.A. (Rufus) defeated Luffy (Rose) 3-1.
• Final Four: Martin "Marn" Phan (C. Viper) defeated Infiltration (Akuma) 3-1.

UPDATE 2:
Justin Wong VS Zak Bennet at ESWC Video

Last Round of the Daigo Invitational Tournament

Makoto (Vega) vs. Uryo (C.Viper) - Seems one sided at first, but it comes around to seem an unfair fight for the other guy, but then goes straight back to being one-sided. This shows just how dynamic a Best to 10 match can be when you're having top tier players downloading and re-downloading each others play styles.

The next round dates have not yet been announced, but we will be seeing Daigo's Ryu, YHC-Mochi's Dhalsim, Sakonoko's Cammy, and Makoto's Vega all battle it out! Look here for more updates.

Daigo Invitational Tournament Update

The final match of Daigo's invitational tournament in Japan will take place quite early on Saturday morning, with the first set to take place at 8 a.m. Central Standard Time. The match will be a "Best to 10" between Makoto playing Vega/Claw and Uryo playing C.Viper. It's definitely a unique match-up, so it'll be interesting to see how it pans out.

However, if you haven't taken a look at the other matches that have already taken place, it's a good opportunity to see some top tier players go at it. Stay tuned for more news!
