Daigo Invitational Tournament Update

The final match of Daigo's invitational tournament in Japan will take place quite early on Saturday morning, with the first set to take place at 8 a.m. Central Standard Time. The match will be a "Best to 10" between Makoto playing Vega/Claw and Uryo playing C.Viper. It's definitely a unique match-up, so it'll be interesting to see how it pans out.

However, if you haven't taken a look at the other matches that have already taken place, it's a good opportunity to see some top tier players go at it. Stay tuned for more news!

Daigo (Ryu) vs. Momochi (Ibuki) - Daigo's plays a solid Ryu (duh!) and manages to keep Ibuki at bay for most of the match, but turning up the heat when he needs it. Excellent match to watch for either a Ryu or Ibuki player.


 



YHC-Mochi (Dhalsim) vs. Mago (Fei Long) - This match is a really close match where the struggle is Mago trying to smash into Mochi, with Mochi trying to zone him out as much as possible. It's an excellent show of skill for both of them, and like I said, it's very close!



Sakonoko (Cammy) vs. Tokido (Akuma) - This is the match that first got me up at the crack of dawn. Since I main Akuma, I wanted to see a best to 10 with a top player using Akuma the way he's supposed to be played! It's a real back-and-forth to the end.
